Do I need equipment?Yes, as the training is complex and designed to replicate the demands of HYROX on some of the programs, you will need access to a variety of equipment used in the race. This includes sleds, kettlebells, sandbags, rowers, ski ergs, and more. This is also relevant for our Strength program. For clients not training for HYROX, there is some flexibility in modifying exercises, but to see the best results, having access to a range of equipment is highly beneficial. Training in a basic or fully equipped gym not only improves your strength and endurance but also helps you develop a strong skill set with various equipment. You’ll build better movement patterns, improve form and technique, and gain a deeper understanding of functional training—all of which translate to better performance in both HYROX and overall fitness.
